Our Memories

A special holiday service, “Remembrances, Tinsels and Tears, was held on Monday December 16, 2002 at the Christ Outreach Church for families who were served at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home.

A Remembrance Tree was on display for several weeks for anyone to view prior to the service in the funeral home and then it was taken to the church for presentation at the service. There were personalized butterfly ornaments made for loved ones who have died this year and placed on the tree. The ornaments were given as a gift to each of the families that were represented at the reception afterwards.

We know the holiday time can be very difficult, especially after experiencing the death of someone we love. We are sensitive to the needs of hurting people and we support and celebrate the life of their loved one(s).
