Glenn G. Bartmas

January 27, 1958 - October 26, 2004
 

Glenn George Bartmas, age 46 of 125 Alpine Lane, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at his residence.

Born Monday, January 27, 1958 in Butler, Pennsylvania he was the son of Glenn O. Bartmas and Winona Stamm Bartmas.

Mr. Bartmas was in the carpenter's union Local 2274 as a heavy carpenter in western Pennsylvania area building locks, dams and bridges. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading and nature. He was an army veteran serving in Fort Knox infantry and Stuttgart Germany as a specialist 5th class.

Mr. Bartmas is survived by his wife Sharon Bartmas whom he married in October of 1980, by three sons, Luke Bartmas, Seth Bartmas, and Glenn "Scooter" Bartmas; one daughter, Shirley Bartmas, by his parents, Glenn O. and Winona Bartmas; by two brothers, Tim Bartmas, and Doug Bartmas; by three sisters, Gloria Pink, Teresa Lechine, and Dianna Stewart; all of Butler, Pennsylvania and by six nieces and eight nephews.

Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Thursday, October 28, 2004 from 7 to 9 p.m..

Services will be held at the North Main Street Church Of God on Friday, October 29, 2004 at 11:00 with Reverend Kenneth C. Hall officiating.
