Jane Berg, 102 of Sarver,
formerly of New York City, New York, died Tuesday, December 16, 2003
at 11:20 a.m. at Fair Winds Manor.
Born March 14, 1901 in Bradford, England, she was the daughter of
Samuel Reuben and Esther Gladstone. Mrs. Berg came to America in 1910.
Mrs. Berg was a homemaker. She was a member of United Order of True
Sisters".
Mrs. Berg is survived by two sons, Larry M. Berg of Butler,
Pennsylvania, and Irwin Berg of Commack, New York, Six Grandchildren,
Fourteen Great-Grandchildren, number of nieces and nephews, and a
number of great nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Berg married her husband Herman Berg on August 21, 1927 in New
York City, New York; he preceded her in death on June 13, 1984. In
addition to her husband she was preceded in death by three brothers
and five sisters.
Graveside services will be held at Mount Moriah Cemetery, Fairview,
New Jersey.
Local arrangements are being handled by Thompson-Miller Funeral Home,
Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania 16001.
