Alice Bossard, age 90
,of Butler, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at her
residence.
Born Sunday, June 7,
1914 in Butler, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Abraham
Lincoln Bossard and the late Caroline Mueller Bossard.
Miss Bossard was
self-employed as a cleaning person. She was a life long member of St.
Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She sang in the church choir for
50 years, she was a member and chairman of the Naomi Circle, King's
Daughter Sunday school class, and she was active with the community
dinners - Katie's Kitchen, a member of St. Mark’s E.L.C.A.W. and she
taught Sunday school for many years as well as volunteered in the
church office.
Miss Bossard is
survived by her sister, Katherine Bossard of Butler, Pennsylvania
Miss Bossard was
preceded in death by three sisters, Clara, Violet and Mathilda Bossard.
Friends will be
received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North
Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Thursday, December 30, 2004 from 2 to
4.
Services will be held
at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. Thursday, December 30,
2004 following visitation at 4:00 p.m. with Reverend Philip W.
Williams, her church pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Butler
County Memorial Park.
