Helen M. Bowser, 84, of
Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 29, 2011
at 7:00 p.m. at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born August 9, 1926
in North Washington, Pennsylvania to the late Louis
Stadnyk and Anna Kowal Stadnyk.
Mrs. Bowser was a
homemaker. In earlier years, she worked at Castle
Rubber Company. She was a talented musician in the
local area. Helen and her sister enjoyed singing
together in a group known as the "Sunny Brownettes".
She also enjoyed playing guitar, singing, gardening
and crocheting.
Helen is survived by one
son, Jeffrey L. Bowser of Butler, PA; and a number
of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents,
she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis J.
Bowser, whom she married May 10, 1958 and who passed
away September 13, 1985; four sisters; and one
brother.
There will be no public
visitation or services. Arrangements are being
handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc.
124 East North Street, Butler, PA 16001.
Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
