Carl S.
Brunermer, 86, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away
on October 30, 2011 at the Sunnyview Nursing and
Rehabilitation Center.
He was born
January 5, 1925 in Connoquensessing, Pennsylvania to
the late Clair H. Brunermer and Bessie (Bowen)
Brunermer.
Mr.
Brunermer was a member of Christ Outreach Church. He
worked in the Tractor Repair Shop at Butler Armco
retiring in 1987 after 41 years of service. Mr.
Brunermer was a member of the Butler Lodge #272 F. &
A.M., Caravan #14 of Butler, The Ancient Accepted
Scottish Rite Valley of New Castle, Butler Shrine
Luncheon Club, Syria Temple of Pittsburgh. He was a
veteran of the United States Air Force serving in
World War II.
Mr.
Brunermer is survived by his loving spouse Anabel,
whom he married on November 20, 1948; two sons,
Jeffery L. Brunermer and his wife, Barbara of
Langhorne, PA, and Kenneth C. Brunermer and his
wife, Lisa of Georgetown, PA; four grandchildren,
one sister, Vivian Logan of Springdale, PA; one
brother, Robert Brunermer of Apollo, PA and a number
nieces and nephews.
He was
preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Friends will be received
at
Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North
Street Butler, PA.
on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 pm.
Funeral services will be
held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 11:00 am at
the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home Inc. with Pastor
Gary A. Koontz of Christ Outreach Church
officiating.
Burial will take place in the
Butler County Memorial Park.

Officers
and Members of Butler Lodge #272 F. & A.M. will
assemble at the Funeral Home at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday,
November 2, 2011 to conduct a Masonic service.
