Leanore Cumberland, age 78 of Mar-Vel Drive, Butler, Pa, died Sunday,
October 24, 2004 at 1:05 p.m. at 125 Mar-Vel Drive.
Born Monday, June 28, 1926 in Chicago,
Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Olney and the late
Alice Hobby.
Mrs. Cumberland was a homemaker. She
was a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church in America. She
taught two year olds in Sunday School for 16 years. She attended
Houghton College in Houghton, New York.
Mrs. Cumberland is survived by three
sons, Robin Cumberland of Ashtabula, Ohio, Christopher Cumberland of
Butler, Pennsylvania, Joel Cumberland of West Sunbury, Pennsylvania;
three daughters, Mrs. George (Deborah) Hoover of Butler, Pennsylvania,
Mrs. Darryl (Shelley) Brown of Butler, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Brad
(Colleen) Magill of Melbourne, Florida; thirteen grandchildren, a
brother, Parker Olney of Tampa, Florida Number of nieces and nephews;
Mrs. Cumberland was preceded in death
by She her husband, Vernon Roy Cumberland and , and by brother.
Friends will be received at the
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler,
Pennsylvania on no public visitation.
Services will be held at the
Westminster Presbyterian Church in America Tuesday, October 26, 2004
1:00 p.m. with Reverend Dr. H. Curtis McDaniel officiating. Interment
will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.
