Charlotte Hess DeArmitt, age 98 of
Westminster Woods, Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, formerly of K & L
Mobile Home Court died Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at 12:50 p.m. in
the Westminster Woods Nursing Home.
Born November 9, 1906 in Six Mile Run,
Bedford County she was the daughter of the late Charles Hess and the
late Arah Hess.
Mrs. DeArmitt was a homemaker. She
was a member of The Church of the Nazarene on Route 68 west in
Butler. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Mrs. DeArmitt is survived by two
sons, James V. DeArmitt of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, Gerald W.
(Jerry) DeArmitt of Butler, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren,
seventeen great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great-grandchildren,
and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. DeArmitt married William M.
DeArmitt on December 22, 1922. He preceded her in death on November
13, 1981.
Friends will be received at the
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler,
Pennsylvania on Thursday, October 27, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson
- Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, October 28, 2005 at 11:00
a.m.
Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, New Kensington,
Pennsylvania.
