Dorothy H. "Glory" Dellen, 79 of East
Brady, died Sunday, October 17, 2004 in Allegheny General Hospital.
Born May 8, 1925 in Butler,
Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of George Gordon and Nellie
Anthony.
Mrs. Dellen worked as a waitress for Vin
and Joes retiring in 1986 after 25 plus years of service. She was
Lutheran by faith. She was active with the Oneida Valley Volunteer
Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and active with the East Brady
American Legion Auxiliary.
Mrs. Dellen is survived by one son,
George V. Dellen of East Brady, Pennsylvania, one granddaughter, one
grandson, one great grand daughter, one brother, Norman Gordon of
Holly Hill, Florida, and by one sister, Mrs. William (Ruth)
Stivenson of Butler, Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Dellen was preceded in death by her
husband Silvester H. "Steve" Dellen, who passed away on March 6,
1991, by a daughter and a sister.
Friends will be received at the Thompson
- Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA, on
Tuesday, October 19, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson -
Miller Funeral Home, Inc., Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at 11:00 a.m.
with the Reverend Denis W. Molnar, pastor of Trinity Presbyterian
church officiating. Interment will follow in North Butler
Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
