Catherine M. Geist, 84, of
Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 28, 2011
at 1:47 p.m. at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born December 21, 1926
in Eau Claire, Pennsylvania to the late Robert Gombash
and Pearl Boda Gombash.
Mrs. Geist worked in the
Housekeeping Department at the Butler Memorial Hospital
and was a member of
St. Michael the Archangel R.C. Church
and enjoyed being with her family.
Mrs. Geist is survived four
daughters, Judy Koebler, Wanda Bernard, Frances Winters,
and Dawnetta Mentzer; three sons, Chester Sutton, Calvin
Sutton, and Ronnie Sutton; ten grandchildren; ten
great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Gombash; and a
number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she
was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank
Sutton, who passed away February 8, 1967; her second
husband, Albert l.. Geist, who passed away February 17,
1997, and one daughter, Gloria Sutton.
Friends will be received
Saturday, October 01, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
at
the
Butler County Memorial Park, 380 Evans City Road Butler,
PA. A funeral service will be held immediately following
at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Father James Dolan, of
St. Michael the Archangel R.C. Church officiating.
Burial will take place in the
Butler County Memorial Park.
