Ellen A. Goldinger Obituary (1957 - 2021)

Ellen A. Goldinger, 63, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. Born September 30, 1957 in Butler, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jack F. and Ellen (Smith) Carroll. She was a high school graduate and a graduate of Butler County Community College in the nursing program. Ellen was employed as a RN during her working career. She attended Cabot United Methodist Church and most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving is her husband James I. Goldinger, Sr. who she married January 23, 1976 of Butler, PA; Daughter; Jacqueline M. Rivers and her husband Jason of Butler, PA; James I. Goldinger, Jr. of Butler, PA; five grandchildren: Isabella, Nicholas, Ava, Dianna and Sophia; Brother: James Carroll of the Poconos; Sister: Maxine Peace of Montana. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Margaret Angus. Visitation will be Monday, July 19, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8 at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 E. North Street, Butler, PA 16001. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jonathan Fehl of Cabot United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery in Sagamore, PA.
