Ethel F.
Green, 90 of Hindman Road, formerly of Third Avenue, Butler, died
Sunday, November 9, 2003 at Sunnyview Home.
Born June 21, 1913 in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, she was the
daughter of Raymond Bowser and Myrtle Bowser.
She was retired for G. C. Murphy's. Mrs. Green was a member of the
First Baptist church, Women's Missionary Society and the Truth
Seeker's Sunday School class at First Baptist Church.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Jack (Margie) Van Gorder, Mrs. John
(Merna) Patten both of Butler, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Harold (Norma)
Huber, Mrs. David (Joyce) Shaw both of Sterling Heights, Michigan,
Mrs. Ronald (Carol) Bowen of Sterling, Virginia, one son, James A.
Green of Butler, Pennsylvania, Sixteen Grandchildren,Twenty-two Great-
Grandchildren, One Great-Great-Grandchild, One Step Great-Great
Grandchild, and a number of niece and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her husband James Green, who passed away in
1971, three sisters and two brothers.
Friends will be received at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc.,
124 East North Street, Butler, PA, on Tuesday, November 11, 2003 from
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc.,
Wednesday, November 12, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend David Maitland
Officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.
