Grosclaude, 97, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away
on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the VNA Inpatient
She was born October 26, 1920 in Chicora,
Pennsylvania to the late Craig Thompson and the late
Mary Welsh Thompson.
Hazel worked with her husband Pierre in his Auto
Repair & Sales business. She enjoyed hunting and
fishing, especially fishing in Canada. Hazel was a
member of Grace@Calvary Lutheran Church.
She is survived by one son, James (Brenda)
Grosclaude of Butler, PA; one daughter-in-law, Karen
Grosclaude of Prospect, PA; four grandchildren,
Brian and Christopher Grosclaude, Randy Grosclaude,
and Marcella Shay; six great grandchildren; two
great great granddaughters; two step great great
grandsons; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by husband Pierre Grosclaude whom she married
on January 28, 1943 and who passed away on October
21, 2017; one son, Thomas Grosclaude, three sisters,
Grace Sutton, Naomi Harper, and Ruth Slaugenhaupt.
There will be no public visitation or funeral
Private burial took place in the North Side
