| Sue Ann Gutherie, 74, of Butler,
Pennsylvania, passed away on July 8, 2011 at 9:30 a.m.
at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born December 16, 1936
in Butler, Pennsylvania to the late Charles Edward
Lackey and Helen Loretta Haas Lackey.
Mrs. Gutherie was a homemaker
and attended Community Alliance Church. She enjoyed
reading and especially enjoyed being with her family.
Mrs. Gutherie is survived by
her loving husband Thomas B. Gutherie, whom she married
June 16, 1956; one son, Daniel and his wife Becky
Gutherie; one daughter, Shari Hartle, both of Butler,
PA; three grandchildren, Matthew Gutherie, Melissa
Gutherie and Zach Hartle; a number of nieces and
nephews; and two brothers, William Lackey of Butler, PA
and Donald and his wife Gaye Lackey of Butler, PA.
Friends will be received
Friday, July 15, 2011 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the
Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road Butler, PA. A
memorial service will be held immediately following at
11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Dennis L. Krajacic,
officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial
donations may be made to donor's favorite charity.
