Ruth E. Hedglin, age 79
of Cherry Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away Wednesday,
December 17, 2003 at 10:50 a.m. at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born February 25, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Redmond
and Hazel Knauff.
Mrs. Hedglin was a homemaker, she loved shopping flea markets and yard
sales.
She was married to Donald Edward Hedglin, Sr, he preceded her in death
on December 29, 1987.
She is survived by one son: Donald Edward Hedglin, Jr.of Butler,
Pennsylvania, two daughters: Mrs. Edward Bonnie McCormick and Mrs.
William (Linda) Cashmere both of Butler, Pennsylvania, eight
grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, two sisters: Mrs. Loyal
(Edna) White of Hillsville, Pennsylvania and Sylvia Jean Wansitler of
New Castle, Pennsylvania, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister.
Family and friends of Ruth E. Hedglin will be received on Friday,
December 19, 2003 from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Thompson-Miller Funeral Home
Inc. 124 East North St. Butler, Pennsylvania 16001. There will be no
funeral services at this time.
Interment will Follow in The Butler County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the American Heart
Association, to the Diabetes Association or directly to the family to
help defray expenses. |
