H. Claire Hetrick, 77, of 105 Cara Lane
died at 4:02 a.m. Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital
Born in Slate Lick, Armstrong County,
Oct. 21, 1925, she was the daughter of Robert D. and Mollie L. Dimit
Rhea.
Mrs. Hetrick was a homemaker and
enjoyed sewing and gardening.
She was a member of Meridian United Presbyterian Church and had taught
Sunday school for many years. She also belonged to the Sarah Elizabeth
Missionary Circle, Buttercup Garden Club, Meridian Volunteer Fireman's
Auxiliary and the Meridian Home Extension group.
Surviving are her husband, Bernard A.
Hetrick, whom she married Oct. 8, 1944; a son, Paul Robert Hetrick of
Tucson, Ariz.; a daughter, Drena Marie Hetrick of Butler; two
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. A
sister, Mrs. Lloyd G. (Dorothy) Nunmaker of East Brady; a brother,
John D. Rhea of Newnan, Ga.; and several nieces also survive.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Valerie Ferol Hetrick, and a
brother.
HETRICK - Friends of H. Claire Hetrick,
who died Monday, Sept. 1, 2003, will be received from noon to 4 p.m.
Thursday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St. Funeral
services will follow at 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial
will follow at Butler County Memorial Park, Butler Township.
