Edna M. Hopper

Edna M. Hopper Age 83 of Charlon Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2004 at 2:10 p.m. at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Butler, Pennsylvania on May 21,1921, she was the daughter of the late Harry Hopper and Cecelia Morrison Hopper.

Mrs. Hopper was a homemaker and a member of South Butler Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary.

She was married to Emerson L. Hopper on July 19, 1941 he preceded her in death on February 9,2000.

Mrs. Hopper is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Sandra) Gilliland of Fort Myers, Florida, Mrs. Richard (Gloria) McCandless of Hilliards, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Edward (Barget) Johnson of Lakeland, Florida, five grandchildren; Brad Gilliland, Jennifer Gilliland Vanasdale and her husband Gary, Josh McCandless and his wife Denise, Brandy Johnson and Tiffany Johnson, one great-grandson Matthew Gilliland, two brothers, Ralph Morrison and Donald Morrison, three sisters, Ruby Huff, Phyllis Wahler and Marjorie Wahler all of Butler, Pennsylvania, and also by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Friends and family of Edna Hopper will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania 16001on Monday, November 8, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 and 9 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 9:00 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2004, with her niece Patti Elliott of Joy Ministries World Wide, Inc. officiating. Interment will follow on Tuesday, November 9,2004 in the Butler County Memorial Park.
