James Robert Huey

James Robert Huey, 87, of Allison Park, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 12, 2018.

He was born January 31, 1931 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Gilbert Huy and the late Ann Marie Kimmick Huy. On September 3, 1954, he married Dolores Simpson. James worked as a Professor of Art for the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He also worked as a Railroad Engineer for Penn Central.

Jim was a natural artist with a creative and adventurous spirit who enjoyed history, travel, and nature. He will be remembered as a dedicated husband, father, brother, and friend who demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for life.

Jim is survived by his one son, Neil S. Huey of Pittsburgh, PA; one brother, John Huy of Zelienople, PA; one sister, Conie Keeney of Deltona, FL; three grandchildren, Victoria Huey, Matthew Huey, Gabriel Huey; five nieces and two nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by one brother, Gilbert Huy; one son, Mark Huey; one sister, Anna Mae Sandri; his wife, Dolores Simpson Huey; and one daughter-in-law, Frances Rimolt Huey.

Private services and burial will be held at a later day.
