William M.
"Bill" Hulton, Jr., age 65, of Butler, passed away
Wednesday morning at Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He was born
August 3, 1946 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late William M.
Hulton and Eleanor (Walters) Hulton LeFevre.
Bill was a 1964
graduate of Butler High School. He received his Bachelor
of Arts in History from Dennison University and his
Juris Doctor in law from Dickinson School of Law. He was
a Vietnam War veteran, serving in the United States Army
with the 101st Admin. Co. 101st Airborn Division and was
stationed in Phu Bai, Vietnam. He practiced general law
for 17 years. He was also employed at the Cross Keys
Restaurant for many years and for the past several years
was a sales associate for Joseph A. Banks Clothiers and
an instructor at the Community College of Beaver County,
where he taught a variety of classes.
Bill was a
member of the Hill United Presbyterian Church. He served
on Butler City Council for 12 years as the Director of
Finances. He also served on various boards and was
active in civic organization over the years. Bill was
currently a board member of the Maridon Museum.
Bill was a
passionate book collector and an avid reader. He enjoyed
baseball and was known for his gourmet cooking and also
loved dogs.
Bill is
survived by his wife, Suzanne M. Warheit Hulton of
Butler; a cousin, Carol J. Hulton of Butler; two nieces,
Dhyana Keefer and Elizabeth Warheit of Butler; two
nephews, David Keefer of Butler and Brian Warheit of
Pittsburgh; one great-niece, Khloe Keefer of Butler; two
brother-in-laws, Richard L. (Susan) Warheit and Eric P.
(Chrissy) Warheit of Butler; his mother-in-law, Hazel M.
Warheit of Butler; one step-brother, Paul LeFevre; four
step-nieces; and many loving, friends, relatives and
colleagues.
In addition to
his parents, he was preceded in death by several aunts
and uncles; one cousin; one sister-in-law, two
step-sisters and one step-brother.
There will be
no public visitation. A public Memorial Service will be
announced at a later date.
