Hutchison, age 80 of Van Mar Drive, Butler, Pennsylvania, died
Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at 9:19 p.m. in Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born May 12, 1924 in Butler, Pennsylvania
he was the son of the late Deurelle L. Hutchison and the late Marie M.
Dunn.
Mr. Hutchison retired as the foreman of
the press department of Pullman Standard in 1984. Also in his earlier
years he worked for Montgomery Wards and Creighton Paul's Appliances
in Butler, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the St. John's Reformed
Church. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the 11th Airborne
187th medical detachment from 1943 to 1946, serving in the southwest
Pacific theater, including New Guinea and the Philippine Islands.
Mr. Hutchison is survived by wife, Mrs.
Garnet Wilson Hutchison; a son, D. James Hutchison of Butler,
Pennsylvania; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Kathy) McClaine of Butler,
Pennsylvania and Mrs. Timothy (Mary Ann) Miller of New Port Richey,
Florida; two grandchildren, one great-grandson, and a number of nieces
and nephews.
Mr. Hutchison was preceded in death by
an infant son and one brother.
Friends will be received at the
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler,
Pennsylvania on Thursday, December 30, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson -
Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, December 31, 2004 11:00 A.M. with
Chaplin Henry B. Hall, the chaplin of the VA Medical Center,
officiating. Interment will follow in North Side Cemetery.
