Nancy Kathleen Hutchison

April 28, 1921 - October 7, 2005

Nancy Kathleen Hutchison, age 84 of Weckerly Road, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Friday, October 7, 2005 at 5:27 p.m. in the Lowrie House.

Born April 28, 1921 in Jefferson Township, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Orrie J. Caldwell and the late Temoy Taylor.

Mrs. Hutchison was a homemaker. She was a member of Summit United Presbyterian Church. She was also a former deacon of her church, she sang in the church choir and was a Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Hutchison was a member of the Maqueda Chapter #421 OES, America Legion Auxiliary of Saxonburg, AARP, she was a charter member of the Buco trailer club. Mrs. Hutchison enjoyed camping, traveling, and planting flowers in her garden. She was also a volunteer at the V.A. Medical center in Butler for many years.

Mrs. Hutchison is survived by one son, Larry Paul Hutchison of Las Vegas, Nevada; two daughters, Sandra (Sandy) Smith of Butler, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Timothy (Sheri) Amerson of Butler, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and by a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hutchison was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. (Hutch) Hutchison, by one daughter, two sisters, and three brothers. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be held at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Jonathan Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Summit Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
