Rose Ann Jackman

March 24, 1942 - October 7,  2005

Rose Ann Jackman, age 63, of South Woodland Circle, Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, died Friday, October 7, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. at her residence.

Born March 24, 1942 in Butler, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Robert and Annabele Shannon McGinley.

Mrs. Jackman was a teacher and librarian at the Penn Township Elementary School. She served as a substitute teacher and home base tutor for The West Butler School District. She also taught for Lutheran Youth and Family Services.

She was a member of White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church, where she had served as a deacon and elder and also as a Sunday school teacher.

Mrs. Jackman is survived by her husband, Donald Jackman, whom she married July 29, 1971; her son, Michael Riesmeyer and his wife, Mary, of Butler, Pennsylvania; her daughter, Teresa Riesmeyer of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren, Angela, Jackie, Robbie, Michelle, Carter, Mason and Molly; her brother, Robert McGinley and his wife, Linda, of Renfrew, Pennsylvania; and by her two nieces, Molly Hilliard and Missy Troyan.

Mrs. Jackman was preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred Riesmeyer who was deceased November 20,1968.

Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Sunday, October 9, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.

Funeral Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, October 10, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Lee Dryer, pastor of her church, officiating. Interment will follow in Evans City Cemetery.
