Harold "Dutch" James, 86,
of Prospect, Pennsylvania, passed away on January
24, 2012 at the Saxony Health Center.
He was born November 15,
1925 in Butler, Pennsylvania to the late Richard and
Ruby James.
Mr. James was an electrical
engineer for WTAE TV and enjoyed working on the
farm. He was veteran of United States Army Air Corp
during World War II. Mr. James graduated from the
University of Chicago.
Mr. James is survived by
one son, Gary L. James and his wife Doris of
Prospect, PA; one daughter, Sandra Allen and her
husband David of Butler, PA; five grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren; three brothers, Nelson, Phillip
and Walter James; one sister, Ruth McCall; and a
number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents,
he was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria M.
James who passed away on December 6, 2003 and also
by one brother.
Friends will be received
Friday, January 27, 2012 from 2 to
4 and 6 to 8 pm and also Saturday, January 28, 2012
from 12:00 (noon) to 1:00 p.m.
at Thompson -
Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street
Butler, PA.
There will be no formal
funeral service.
Interment will take place in the Brownsdale
Cemetery.
