Esther M. Jamison

June 24, 1922 - August 10, 2004
 

Esther M. Jamison, 82, formerly of North Main Street Extension, Butler, died Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born June 24, 1922 in Worthington, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Clyde Rumbaugh and Beulah Bowser.

Mrs. Jamison was employed as a welder for 13 years for Pullman Standard. She was a member of New Testament Baptist Church, formerly known as Butler Baptist Temple, for over 45 years. She was a member of Tanglewood Senior Center.

Surviving are her two daughters, Mrs. Chester (Jacqueline) Warburton of Butler, and Mrs. Judith Hartman of Falls of Rough, Kentucky, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, three nieces and one nephew.

Preceding her in death were her three husbands, Alden Pore, Glenn Bowser and Raymond Jamison, two brothers, four sisters and a great grandson.

Friends will be received at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, on Thursday August 12, 2004 from 7 to 9.

Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., Thursday August 12, 2004, following visitation, at 9:00 p.m. with Reverend Steve Fisher, her church pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
