Henry Leslie Johnson, Jr., 90, of Renfrew, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 10, 2013 at 7:25 a.m. in the VA Butler Healthcare Hospice.

He was born July 3, 1923 in Ashland, Kentucky to the late Henry Leslie Johnson and Ethel (Woolridge) Johnson.

Mr. Johnson worked as a mechanic at Butler County Ford for 25 years. He was a veteran of the 101st Army Airborne serving in World War II.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Imogene (Chambers) Johnson, whom he married on May 13, 1947; two daughters, Suzan Ball and her husband Ed of Waco, TX and Polly Brookbank of Butler, PA; one son, Steve Johnson of Renfrew, PA; five grandchildren; six great-children; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant son, two sisters and one brother.

There will be no public visitation or funeral service.

Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA 16001.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in his memory to VA Butler Healthcare, 325 New Castle Road, Butler, PA 16001. (Please write hospice in memo line of check).
