Louise Kamerer King,
96, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on July
9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sunnyview Nursing
and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born May 14,
1916 in Chicora, Pennsylvania to the late Obed
G. Kamerer and Pauline McSherry Kamerer.
Mrs. King was a
homemaker. She was a member of the First English
Lutheran Church and a member of the Maqueda
Chapter #421 Order of the Eastern Star and the
Cavendish Club. She was a beautiful artist.
Mrs. King is survived
by one daughter. Myrna Schrecongost and her
husband Don of Petrolia, PA; one son, Obie G.
King of Butler, PA; four grandchildren; four
great-great-grandchildren; and a number of
nieces and nephews.
In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by her
husband W. Dale King, whom she married December
25, 1934 and who passed away February 21, 1997;
and by two sisters.
Friends will be
Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. at the
Thompson - Miller Funeral Home,
Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday,
July 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home Inc., 124 East
North St. Butler, PA, with Reverend Donald Short
of Grace @ Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Entombment will take place
in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler
County Memorial Park,
