Suzanne King, age 89, of
Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 22, 2012
at 3:40 a.m. at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born March 1, 1923
in Butler, Pennsylvania to the late Frank Halahurich
and Anna Lenko Halahurich.
Mrs. King was a former
member of Calvary United Presbyterian Church. She
worked at the Spades Shirt Factory. Mrs. King
enjoyed cooking, sewing and baking. She graduated
from Butler High School.
Mrs. King is survived by
three sons, Robert King and his wife Barbara ,James
King and his wife Deborah and Frank David King and
his wife Karen all of Butler, PA; one daughter,
Suzanne Swartout of Butler, PA; two granddaughters;
four grandsons; five great grandsons; two great
granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death
by her husband, Frank Robert King, whom she married on
April 2, 1945 and who passed away on January 8, 2011;
one brother, Michael Halahurich; and also by three
sisters Mary Michalec, Ann Nye and Dorothy Lepionka.
At Mrs. Kings's request visitation and funeral
services will be private. A private entombment will
also take place at the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum
at Butler County Memorial Park.
