Iva Jean Klaus, 81 of
Butler, formerly of Amy Avenue, died Friday, July 23, 2004 in Sunrise
of Cranberry.
Mrs. Klaus was born May 4, 1923 in Clay Township, Butler County,
Pennsylvania.
She was a homemaker and a member of Hill United Presbyterian Church
for over fifty years. Mrs. Klaus was a charter member of the Order of
the Amaranth- Court #145 Butler, Pennsylvania and of the White Shrine
of Jerusalem #32. She was a member of the Sarah Circle at Hill United
Presbyterian Church and of the willing workers at her church.
Surviving are, two nephews, four nieces, one great niece, one great
nephew, and a number of cousins. Preceding her in death was her
husband, William H. Klaus deceased September 24, 1979.
Friends will be received at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc.,
124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Sunday July 25, 2004
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc.,
Monday July 26, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Clark Sawyer, her
church pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial
Estates.
