William Kraustok

April 3, 1927 ~ April 13, 2017

 

 

William Kraustok, 90, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 13, 2017 at the Butler Memorial Hospital with his wife by his side.

He was born April 3, 1927 in Lyndora, Pennsylvania to the late Gregory Kraustok and Pearl Dinitruk Kraustok.

Mr. Kraustok was a veteran of the US Army Air Force, having served in WWII . He worked for Pullman Standard before retiring on July 31, 1982. William enjoyed golfing, collecting antiques, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothea M. Dietrich Kraustok, whom he married June 21, 1963; a number of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; a number of nieces and nephews; and a number of great nieces and great nephews.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA .

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Brandon Watkiss, William's nephew, from Englewood Church of Independence, Missouri, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Butler County Memorial Park.

Officers and Members of the American Legion Post #117 Butler, the American Legion Post #778 Lyndora, and the VFW Post #249 Butler, will conduct military honors at the cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
