Alice W.
Raabe Kummer, 90 of Autumn Grove Care Center, Harrisville, formerly of
the Arbors Apartments, Lincoln Avenue, died Monday, August 16, 2004 at
3:25 a.m. in Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born July 29, 1914 in Butler, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of
August Raabe and Nancy Hamel.
Mrs. Kummer worked as a machinist for Spade Shirt Factory. She was a
member of Golden Age Club, A.A.R.P., Tanglewood Senior Center, and
Sunnyview Auxiliary.
Mrs. Kummer is survived by three sons, Charles "Fred" F. Kummer of
Jefferson City, Missouri, Ronald A. Kummer of Butler, Pennsylvania,
Jack L. Kummer of Laurel, Maryland, one daughter, Mrs. Rudolph
(Delores) Bowser of Butler, Pennsylvania, thirteen grandchildren,
twenty-two great-grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews, and
two sisters.
Mrs. Kummer was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur F. Kummer, who
passed away on March 7, 1972 and by three brothers and three sisters.
Private services. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.

Walker Avenue, Butler, Pennsylvania 16001 or to the donor's favorite
charity.
