Kurtz, of Penn Township, died Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at his
residence after a long battle with cancer.
He was born in Butler, Pennsylvania on
June 16, 1961, the son of George S. Kurtz, Jr. and Nadine Garbisch
Kurtz who preceded him in death.
Kevin lived a life to it's fullest and
his many hobbies included hunting, fishing, golf, cooking and
collecting wine. He was a member of the Butler Country Club, The
Duquesne Club, Pike Run Country Club and the Millville Sportsmen's
Club. Kevin was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church of
Bakerstown. He was a graduate of Mercersburg Academy and Washington
and Lee University.
Kevin was the beloved husband of Janet
Nash Kurtz whom he married October 10, 1987 and an active father to
his two sons, Chandler Loring Kurtz and Cameron Nash Kurtz. One aunt,
Victoria Garbisch Jackson and a number of dear cousins, also survives
him.
A memorial service will be held at the
First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, Pennsylvania on Tuesday,
November 9, 2004 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Dr. David L. McDonald and
Reverend Dr. Richard A. Morledge officiating. Burial services will be
held privately at the North Side Cemetery, Butler, Pennsylvania.

East Cruikshank Road, Butler, Pennsylvania 16002.
