Jane Leinenbach, 82, of Butler,
Pennsylvania, passed away on June 20, 2011 at 3:20 p.m. at the
Butler Memorial Hospital. As Jane passed from this life to her
Heavenly Home, she was surrounded by her family.
She was born October 25, 1928 in
Butler, Pennsylvania to the late Thomas Critchlow and Earla
Hughes Critchlow.
Jane had many occupations throughout
her life. Some of which were working at the Spaide Shirt
Factory, Butler Area School District and Jack's Ford. She also
took on numerous other duties and responsibilities to support
and sustain her family; but, her most cherished life's work was
that of a homemaker to her children, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. Jane was a member of the "Relief Society"
of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, whose motto
is "Charity Never Faileth". Jane took this motto to heart. She
sought opportunities to serve others, to care for children, to
mow a neighbor's lawn, to care for the sick and shut-ins and to
take meals to those in need, just to name a few. Her favorite
pastime was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed
gardening, reading and volunteer service in her church. She
sincerely loved and was loved by all the children she taught in
Primary. She was a wonderful storyteller and was often found in
the midst of children from her own family, her church or from
her neighborhood. Her fun and animated tales would leave the
children spellbound..
