Margaret Ellen Maihle, 78,
of Renfrew, Pennsylvania, unexpectedly passed away
on September 30, 2011 at 9:50 p.m. at UPMC
Presbyterian.
She was born August 20,
1933 in Butler, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph
Zimmel and Lavern Graham Zimmel.
Mrs. Maihle worked at
Magnetics and was a housewife. She enjoyed cooking,
baking, crossword puzzles and her grandchildren.
Mrs. Maihle is survived by
her husband, Fred Lewis Maihle, Sr., whom she
married August 11, 1956; three sons, Fred Maihle, Jr
and his wife Dianne, Thomas Maihle and his wife
Lori, and Frank Maihle and his wife Renee; three
daughters, Mary Jane Macoskey and her husband Eric,
Karen Phipps and her husband Mike, and Linda Maihle;
two brothers, David Zimmel, and Francis Zimmel;
eleven grandchildren; and a number of nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her parents,
she was preceded in death by two sisters and two
brothers.
There will be no public
visitation or funeral.

Volunteer Fire Company, 121 Sparks Avenue, Butler,
PA 16001.
