Kenneth R. McBride, 91 of Chicora, died Monday, September 1, 2003 at the Chicora Medical Center.

Born January 6, 1912 in Butler, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Eugene McBride and Eva Welsh.

Mr. McBride graduated from Butler Area High School in 1930. He Retired in 1975 as a Supervisor for AK Steel working in the Electrical Annealing and Strip Coating departments. He was a member of Christ Community United Methodist Church. He was an avid golfer and former member of Armco Country Club. Following retirement he spent part of his residence in Clearwater, Florida.

Surviving are his second wife, Martha Smail McBride, two sons and their wives, Bruce and Marilyn Jean McBride, Keith and Judy McBride of Butler, Pennsylvania, one daughter and her husband, Robert E. and Joan H. Dickinson of Harlansburg, Pennsylvania, seven Grandchildren, Debra McBride Grigorovich, Sharon McBride Dishop, Marcia McBride Rullman, Colleen McBride Habbyshaw, Christie McBride, Tricia Dickinson Uber, and Bryan R. Dickinson, Ten Great-Grandchildren, Erin Grigorovich, Claudia and Cole McBride-Sloboda, Michele, Danielle and Patrick Dishop, Heather and Kristina Rullman, Derek Meals and Justin Kennedy, a number of Nieces and Nephews and special friends James and Doris Rooks of Butler, Pennsylvania.

Preceding him in death was his first wife Edna May McBride, who passed away on October 5, 1968 and also two brothers and four sisters.

Friends will be received at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA, on Wednesday, September 3, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., Thursday, September 4, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
