Jean H. McDougal, 88, of
Butler, Pennsylvania, formerly of Monongahela,
passed away on January 11, 2012 at 7:10 p.m. at the
Saxony Health Center.
She was born April 11, 1923
in New Eagle, Pennsylvania to the late Harry Hansen
and Effie J. Siberling Hansen.
Mrs. McDougal was a
graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School and was a
homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards, crafts and
especially crocheting and knitting..
Mrs. McDougal is survived
by one son, John "Jack" R. McDougal and his wife
Deborah of Altoona, PA; one daughter, Debbie
Ferguson and her husband John of Butler, PA; one
step-daughter, Bonnie Beck and her husband Norm of
Wilkes Barre, PA; five grandchildren, Kylee & Kaytee
McDougal, Shannon Ferguson, Brian Beck and Cindy
Searfoss; four great-grandchildren; two sisters,
Eileen Russell of Elizabeth, PA and Edith Brown of
Las Vegas, NV; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents,
she was preceded in death by her husband, John A.
McDougal whom she married November 14, 1953 and who
passed away August of 2002; and one sister, Alice
Miller.
Friends will be received
Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 2 to 8 p.m.
at
Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North
Street Butler, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Monday,
January 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home Inc., 124 East North
St. Butler, PA, with Reverend Dr. J. David Panther,
officiating.
Burial will take place in the
Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth, PA.
