McMillin, age 75 of Race Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, died
Saturday, September 10, 2005 at 1:40 a.m. in the Butler Memorial
Hospital.
Born May 26, 1930 in Butler,
Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Harry B. Carson and
the late Irma Love.
Mrs. McMillin was a homemaker. She
was a member of North Street Christian Church. Mrs. McMillin worked
for many years for the Election Return Board for Butler County. She
was a volunteer member for the Butler Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
Mrs. McMillin is survived by her
husband, Laverne McMillin, Sr. whom she married on August 27, 1948,
by two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Patricia) Brandt of Naples,
Florida, Mrs. Timothy (Susan) Johnston of Connoquenessing,
Pennsylvania; two sons, Larry McMillin, and Laverne McMillin, Jr.
both of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren, and seven
great-grandchildren.
Mrs. McMillin was preceded in death
by a son, a grandson, a sister and a brother.
Friends will be received at the
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler,
Pennsylvania on Monday, September 12, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m.
Services will be held at the Thompson
- Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at 1:00
p.m. with Reverend Robert C. Huber officiating. Interment will
follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
