Marian Menell, 93, of
Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 13,
2011 at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born April 23, 1918
in Butler, Pennsylvania to the late Charles Foringer
and Sophronia (Cooper) Foringer.
Mrs. Menell was part owner
and operator of the Vin-Mar Restaurant. She was an
active member of the Butler Memorial Hospital
Auxiliary, Butler Chapter #45 of the Eastern Star
and the White Shrine. Mrs. Menell was a member of
St. Peter Episcopal Church. She enjoyed playing
cards.
Mrs. Menell is survived by
one son, Charles Vincent (Maryanne) Menell of
Phoenix, AZ; one daughter,Cynthia (Henry) Dimmick of
Butler, PA; three grandchildren, Mason Menell,
Taylor and Hunter Dimmick and three nephews.
In addition to her parents,
she was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent
Menell whom she married on August 1, 1942 and who
passed away on January 28, 1974, and also by one
infant son.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday,
November 17, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Butler County
Memorial Park with Father James Salberg, of St.
Andrew Roman Catholic Church officiating.
Burial will take place in the
Butler County Memorial Park.
