Josephine M.
Mohan, 84 of West Muntz Avenue, Butler, died Monday, October 4, 2004
at 1:05 a.m. in Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born November 21, 1919 in Meridian, Butler County, she was the
daughter of the late Vera Sarver Kirk.
Mrs. Mohan was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist
Church. She formerly worked at Grants in Butler in the hosiery
department. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother.
Mrs. Mohan is survived by one son, James P. Mohan of Fort Wayne,
Indiana, Daughter-in-law, Rachel Mohan, one daughter, Patti Sickle of
Butler, Pennsylvania, son-in-law, Dan Sickle four grand-daughters,
Elizabeth Miller, Shannon Martinez, Trisha Sickle, Danielle Sickle,
one great-grand-daughter Micah Miller, one great-great-grand-daughter,
Kassidy Miller, two sisters, Elsie Kirk, of Butler, Pennsylvania,
Agnes Sarver of Prospect, Pennsylvania, and by one brother, Harry Kirk
of Renfrew, Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Mohan was preceded in death by her husband Clarence J. "Duke"
Mohan, who passed away on April 23, 1999 and by her sister, Marie Ion
and brother Ralph Kirk.
Friends will be received at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc.,
124 East North Street, Butler, PA, on Wednesday, October 5, 2004 from
7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, October 7, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church, Friday,
October 8, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend J. David Panther
officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
