Kathryn
Beatrice "Bea" Monjar, 89 of New Castle Road, Butler, died Tuesday,
November 18, 2003 at 6:30 p.m. at Sunnyview Home.
Born October 20, 1914 in Butler County, Pennsylvania, she was the
daughter of Samuel George Martin and Martha Romaine Black.
Mrs. Monjar worked for Moyers Level Works in Parker, Pennsylvania. She
was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. She was a former deacon
at her church, past Royal Matron of Ameranth Lodge of Chicora, past
president of Mount Chestnut Women's Club and a former member of Armco
golf club. Mrs. Monjar was a member of Parker City chapter #60 Order
of Eastern Star.
Mrs. Monjar is survived by her husband Chester Maxwell Monjar, one
sister, Mrs. Margaret Ellen Miller of Eau Claire, Pennsylvania, three
brothers, Kenneth W. Martin of North Washington, Pennsylvania, Robert
J. Martin of Dayton, Ohio, Charles F. Martin of Butler, Pennsylvania,
and a number of nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was one sister and two brothers.
Friends will be received at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc.,
124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania, on Friday, November 21,
2003 from 11:00 a.m to 12:30 p.m.
Services will be held at the Trinity Presbyterian Church, Friday,
November 21, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Greenlawn
Burial Estates. |
