Jean Elizabeth Nicholas, age 91 of 406 Piper Lane, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at 5:15 a.m. at Concordia Lutheran Care. 

Born February 27, 1914 in Butler, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Arthur O. Nicholas and the late Frances Balph. 

Miss Nicholas was a bank teller for Mellon Bank for 40 years, retiring in 1975.  She was a member of St. Andrew's United Presbyterian Church.  She was a former trustee of her church, member of the Butler Hospital Auxiliary and a member of the Gray Ladies 1st class during WW II. 

There will be no public visitation or service. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Devotion at Butler County Memorial Park. Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania.
