Oesterling, age 78, of Highland Drive, Butler, Pennsylvania, died
Friday, August 26, 2005 at 1:15 a.m. at her residence.
Born August 7, 1927 in McKees Rocks,
Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of John H. and Bertha Thurston
Harkins.
Mrs. Oesterling attended Wesleyan
Methodist Church.
She was a homemaker. She loved to
crochet and she made beautiful christening gowns. She loved being with
her family and she looked forward to spending time with her
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Oesterling is survived by her
husband, John H. Oesterling, who she married April 10, 1946; two sons,
John H. Oesterling, Jr. and his wife, Suzanne of Orlando, Florida and
Dean Oesterling of Butler, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Janie Douthett
and her husband, Carl and Carol Oesterling both of Butler,
Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren and six great- grandchildren; her
brother, Jack Harkins of Sarasota, Florida; and her aunt, Mrs. Dorothy
Johnson of Sarasota, Pennsylvania.
Friends will be received at the
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler,
Pennsylvania on Sunday, August 28, 2005 after church at noon and 2 to
4 and 7 to 9.
Services will be held at the Thompson -
Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, August 29, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with
Reverend James Lynn, of Wesleyan Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Butler
County Memorial Park. |
