Esther Sylvia "Nana" Parmentier

December 31, 1923 - December 9, 2005

Esther Sylvia "Nana" Parmentier, age 81 of Grubbs Road, Wexford, Pennsylvania, died Friday, December 9, 2005 at 8:00 a.m. at her daughter's residence. 

Born December 31, 1923 in Pasau, Austria she was the daughter of the late Leo Ebner and the late Anny Nopp. 

Mrs. Parmentier was a sales clerk for Trader Horn retiring in December 1999.  She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church of North Hills.  Her family was her love especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.  She graduated from Huntington High School.  She enjoyed driving her Healy.  She was a member of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) of the New York Region. She and her late husband were locally famous in the world of sports car rally’s. 

Mrs. Parmentier is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John (Debbie) Keck of Butler, Pennsylvania; two sons, Jan Christiaan Parmentier, Jr. of Long Island, New York, Jon Keith Parmentier of Westland, Michigan; six grandchildren, Kimberly Lelay, Brooke Carey, Monique Parmentier, James Kristopher Parmentier, Brian Thomas Parmentier and Emily Esther Keck, one great-granddaughter, Maia Pauline Lelay, five nieces and nephews; and one sister, Maude St. Jean of Connecticut. 

Mrs. Parmentier was preceded in death by her husband, Jan C. Parmentier who passed away on May 28, 1997. 

There will be no public visitation. 

A Memorial services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dennis Krajacic of Community Alliance Church officiating.  Interment will follow in North Side Cemetery.
