Velma E. Pataky, 85 of
Concordia Ministries, Cabot, formerly of East Pearl Street, died
Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at 1:20 p.m. in Mercy Hospital.
Born March 4, 1919 in Butler, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of
George Eichorn and Helen Bancroft.
She was a homemaker and in her earlier years she worked for Penn
Champ, Inc., the Nixon Hotel as a hostess, and the Pataky Insurance
Agency. Mrs. Pataky was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church,
a member of the Women's council and a volunteer at Life Line.
Mrs. Pataky is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Barbara)
Campau of Livonia, Michigan, Mrs. David (Mary Jo) Milheim of Salem,
Ohio, Linda Rough of Wheaton, Maryland, Mrs. Lewis (Michele) Doctor of
Butler, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Lowell (Jeanne) Jackson of Poolesville,
Maryland, one son, David and Mary Pataky of Butler, Pennsylvania,
seventeen grandchildren; Chad Campau, Julie Miller, Diana Coggins,
David Milheim, Jennifer Ramsay, Todd Pataky, Melissa Pataky, Shannon
Pataky, Melanie Boulanger, Tyler Boulanger, Michael Rough, Brett
Rough, Aaron Doctor, Ryan Doctor, Emily Doctor, Kyle Jackson, Kirk
Jackson and by a number of great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Patatky was preceded in death by her husband John H. Pataky, who
passed away on July 24, 2003 and by one brother.
Services will be held at the St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church,
Saturday, September 25, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in
St. Peter's Roman Catholic Cemetery.
