Eatilo J. Pellegrini, 90, of
Brackenridge, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 2, 2011 at 1:35
a.m. at the Highland Center Genesis Health Care, Brackenridge,
Pennsylvania.
He was born December 17, 1920 in Cicero,
Illinois to the late Primo Pellegrini and Cesera (Sadie) Collodi
Pellegrini.
Mr. Pellegrini was a veteran of the United
States Army-730 Railway Operation Battalion, serving as a
Sergeant in Iraq during World War II. He retired from the
Veteran's Administration Hospital, Butler, where he worked as a
Cook/Maintenance. He was a member of the VFW and Butler Italian
Club and also enjoyed cooking, dancing and politics.
Mr. Pellegrini is survived by two sons,
Joseph (Peggy) Pellegrini of Canfield, OH and Jeff (Sarah)
Pellegrini of Butler, PA; one granddaughter, Jill Pellegrini;
one grandson, Michael Pellegrini; one sister, Yolanda Pucci; two
nieces, Susan McIntyre and Barb Skunda; four nephews, Arthur
Pellegrini, Michael Pucci, Wayne Pucci, and Andy Skunda.
In addition to his parents he was preceded
in death by his first wife, Olga (Grennek) Pellegrini, who
passed away March 15, 1965 and by his second wife, Irene (Nagy)
Pellegrini, who passed away February 28, 1992; two sisters,
Tosca Skunda and Jean Pellegrini; and two brothers, Arthur
Pellegrini and Rene Pellegrini.
Friends will be received Sunday, June 5,
2011 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc.,
124 East North Street Butler, PA.
The family would like to express their
gratitude for the caregivers at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center
and at the Highland Center Genesis Health Care.
