Madeline Heckathorne Raybuck, 91, of
Orlando FL, formerly of Meridian, PA, died Wed., June 8, at 7:30
PM in Savannah Cottage of Oviedo.
Born in Grove City, PA, she was the
daughter of George and Esther Marie Orr.
She was a long-time member of Meridian U.P.
Church and was involved in many church activities.
She graduated from Slippery Rock State
College and was a one-room school teacher before she became a
homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol
Hall, of Orlando, FL, stepdaughters Norma Jean Werner and
husband, Ervin, of Butler; Monalene Werner and husband, William,
and step-son Lee Raybuck and his wife, Marilyn, all of Florida;
grandchildren Shawn Heckathorne and wife, Darcy, of Mt. Home,
ID; Thomas Heckathorne and wife, Jennifer, of Indianapolis, IN;
Heather Borgon and husband, Robert, and Travis Hall and fiancee,
Rachel, all of Orlando, FL; 7 great-grandchildren, numerous
step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, and many nieces
and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents,
her husbands, Frederick Heckathorne and William Raybuck, two
sisters and a brother and their spouses, and two sons, James and
Dennis.
Friends will be received at the
Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street,
Butler, PA 16001 on Monday. June 13, 2011 from 10:00 to 11:00 am with a funeral service
at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 am with Pastor H.
William Glassman of the Living Word Evangelical Free Church and
Reverend Stephen M. Franklin of Meridian United Presbyterian
Church officiating.
Burial will take place at Butler County
Memorial Park.
