A Life Remembered . . .
Alma E. Steen Riemer

December 21, 1922 - November 22, 2005

Alma E. Steen Riemer, age 82, Sunnyview, formerly of Connoquenessing, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at 12:40 p.m. in the emergency room at Butler Memorial Hospital. 

Born December 21, 1922 in Connoquenessing, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late W. L. Louis Steen and the late Guyla Belle Double. 

Mrs. Riemer was a member of North Main Street Church of God.  She was the original owner of the Friendship Gifts and Collectables in Butler, and also former owner of the Added Touch in Connoquenessing, Pennsylvania.  Mrs. Riemer graduated from Butler High School, she like to play the organ and listen to music. 

Mrs. Riemer is survived by one son, David L. and his wife Esther Cochran of Butler, Pennsylvania; one grandson, Eric L. Cochran of Butler, Pennsylvania; three step-granddaughters, Kimberly Christie of Hopewell Township, Pennsylvania, Cheryl Gilliland and Michele Pesci both of Butler, Pennsylvania; three step-great-grandchildren, Matthew Gilliland, Tyler Pesci, and Kaitlyn Pesci. 

Mrs. Riemer was preceded in death by her husband, Henry W. Riemer who passed away on January 30, 2004, by one daughter, Kathleen Cochran and one brother, Charles Steen. 

Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Friday, November 25, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. 

Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Kenneth C. Hall the retired pastor of North Main Street Church Of God officiating.  Interment will follow in White Oaks Springs Cemetery.
