Ruth K. Rosenberg

December 15, 1910 - October 7, 2004
 

Ruth K. Rosenberg, 93 of formerly of Fourth Avenue, died Thursday, October 7, 2004 at 7:15 p.m. in Chicora Medical Center.

Born December 15, 1910 in Vashilock, Lithuania, she was the daughter of David Kopelman and Ida Dalinsky.

Mrs. Rosenberg was a member of Congregation B'Nai Abraham. She was active in her synagogue and a life member of Hadassah and the Sisterhood. She had been treasurer of Hadassah for over 50 years and was the former treasure of Congregation B'Nai Abraham. She was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for Lowal's Women's Clothing Store.
Mrs. Rosenberg is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Albert (Idelle) Brown of Butler, Pennsylvania, two sons, Alan J. Rosenberg of Butler, Pennsylvania, David O. Rosenberg and his wife Peggy of Wexford, Pennsylvania, four grandchildren, Jason Brown and his wife Kelly, Erin Brown, Derek Rosenberg, and Joey Rosenberg.

Mrs. Rosenberg is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Rosenberg, whom she married on May 19, 1946 and who passed away on August 1, 1983, and by a sister and two brothers.

Friends will be received at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, PA, on Sunday, October 10, 2004 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon.

Services will be held at the Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, Inc., Sunday, October 10, 2004 at 12 noon with Cantor Adriane Caplowe officiating. Interment will follow in B'Nai Abraham Cemetery.
