Lillian (Leith)
Shaffer, age 100, formerly of Lumar Village,
Butler, PA now of Cabot, PA passed away on
October 27, 2011 at 10:55 p.m. at the
Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
She was born
September 14, 1911 in Butler, Pennsylvania
to the late George Leith and Jeanne (Hill)
Leith.
Mrs. Shaffer was a
member of North Street Christian Church and
was a homemaker.
Mrs. Shaffer is
survived by three nieces, Nancy Bonnett of
Butler, PA, Sally Beals and her husband,
Robert of North Lauderdale, FL and Maxine
Rapp and her husband William of Renfrew, PA
and one nephew, Charles Leith and his wife
Nancy of Weatherford, TX.
She was preceded in
death by her husband, Albert H. Shaffer whom
she married on January 1, 1940 and passed
away on April 7, 1994, one sister, Frances
Shawkey and two brothers William S. Leith,
and Harold G. Leith.
There will be no
public visitation.
Funeral services will be held on Monday,
October 31, 2011 at the Chapel of Devotion
at Butler County Memorial Park at 1:00 pm
with Pastor Bob Huber of North Street
Christian Church officiating.
Entombment will take place in the Chapel of
Devotion, Butler County Memorial Park.

lieu of flowers memorial donations can be
made to North St.Christian Church, 226 West
North Street, Butler, PA 16001.
