Naomi E. Shaner, 74, of Connoquenessing
died at 1:11 a.m. Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Hadden Heights, N.J., on Dec.
22, 1928, she was the daughter of Gustav F. Eisele and Evelyn
Garrison.
She had retired as a housekeeper for
Evergreen Nursing Center and had formerly worked for Vic Nor Farms.
Mrs. Shaner was a member of Butler
Wesleyan Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, William F.
Shaner of Renfrew and Richard Shaner of Capron, Va.; three daughters,
Evelyn Frankenstein of Zelienople, Mary Belles of Evans City and
Margie Fend of Butler; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, William R. Shaner, died
Feb. 19, 1986.
SHANER - Friends of Naomi E. Shaner, who died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003,
will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and
from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124
E. North St. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home
with the Rev. James A. Lynn, pastor of Butler Wesleyan Methodist
Church, officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount
Chestnut.
