| Shirley E. Shuber, 87, of
Butler, PA, passed away on July 12, 2011 at 7:45 a.m. at
the Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.
She was born January 11, 1924
in Mars, Pennsylvania to the late Ralph J. Emery and
Eleanor (Patterson) Emery.
Mrs. Shuber retired from
Production Planning at Armco (AK) Steel in 1982. She was
a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in America
in Butler.
Mrs. Shuber is survived one
step-daughter, Alysia A. McGarvey of Naples, FL; one
step-grandson, Thomas Sherman of Naples, FL; one sister,
Elizabeth Emery of Slippery Rock, PA; and a number of
nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she
was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Shuber,
who passed away November 26, 2000; two brothers; and one
sister.
There will be no public
visitation.
A Graveside service
will be held, Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at
Rose Hill Cemetery, Mercer Street Ext., Butler, PA 16001
with Mr. Ed Wehr, family friend,
officiating.
